CampusFrance is a French national and non-profit body that promote French higher Education in Malaysia and throughout the world

Who we are

Dedicated to international academic and scientific mobility, CampusFrance operates under the oversight and authority of two French government ministries: the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

  • Promotion and development abroad of French higher education and professional training in France
  • Support for foreign students, scholars, and researchers, particularly in the form of assistance with visas and housing, in close cooperation with France's universities, advanced schools, other institutions of higher education and research, and local and regional governments.
  • Management of grants, internships, and other international mobility programs for students, scholars, and researchers.

In Malaysia, CampusFrance' office is hosted by the Malaysia-France University Centre (MFUC). The MFUC was established on a government-to-government initiative. By building a link to connect the Malaysian and French education sysytems, MFUC effectively reinforces the long-standing co-operation between the two nations in the field of higher education and research.

Represented by a team made of French Nationals as well as Malaysians who have first-hand experience in the French education system, CampusFrance and MFUC are here to assist students who wish to pursue their studies in France.

What we do

We help students by:

  • Finding programmes that best match their needs and expectations
  • Identifying joint PhD opportunities and-or Master's degrees that are taught in English
  • Providing advice pertaining to application procedures
  • Facilitating the students' preparation for their stay in France.

We have become a mainstay at education fairs and other related events in high schools, colleges and universities. We also provide one-to-one counseling to students in our centre by appointment.

How we work

  • Forming fruitful partnerships

CampusFrance Malaysia and MFUC assist Malaysian and French education institutions of higher learning by advising their representatives and helping them identify the best parties for partnerships.

  • Networking on a common platform

CampusFrance Malaysia and MFUC offer a networking platform for Malaysian alumni of French institutions of higher learning. We have developed a social interface called Le Direktori which enables alumni to view, edit and update their information. This, in turn, helps them re-connect with their former classmates and get to know other alumni. Le Direktori also features job offers from French companies in Malaysia.
